Summary:The Pontifical Biblical Commission's document The Interpretation of the Bible in the Church (IBC) explores the methods and interpretive frameworks utilized within contemporary Catholic Biblical exegesis. This article seeks to summarize and supplement the section in Part I, wherein a general overview of the approaches based on tradition are acknowledged and incorporated into the interpretive process. The canonical approach, approaches incorporating the Jewish interpretive tradition, and an approach considering the history of the influence of the text (Wirkungsgeschichte) will be briefly examined.
Le document de la Commission biblique pontificale, L'interprétation de la Bible dans l'Église (IBÉ), explore les méthodes et les cadres d'interprétation utilisés dans l'exégèse biblique catholique contemporaine. Cet article propose de résumer et de compléter la section de la partie I du document dans laquelle un aperçu général des approches fondées sur la tradition est reconnu et intégré au processus d'interprétation. L'approche canonique, les approches incorporant la tradition interprétative juive et, enfin, une approche tenant compte de l'histoire de l'influence du texte (Wirkungsgeschichte) seront brièvement examinées.
