Para ello rastrea, en primer lugar, el desarrollo de la palabra en los textos patrístivos, para luego profundizar en las fuentes del código teodosiano sobre la situación legal y penal, después del edicto Cunctos populos que convirtió al cristianismo en la religión oficial de Roma. The present article aims at clarifying the meaning and usage of the term "heresy" from the beginnings of the Christian era - in ist Jewish context - to the IV century. In this sense, it starts by tracing the development of the word in the patristic texts, and then it moves into an in-depth analysis of the sources of the Theodosian Code about the legal and criminal state of affairs after the Cunctos populos edict, which turned Christianism into the official religion of Rome |
