Summary: | Throughout history, and uninterruptedly so since the eighteenth century, a succession of teams have devoted themselves to ask of "reducing" man to what, properly speking, is the human (physis), without any humanistic law (nomos). A series of such replacements has eradicated the personal being of man. They have looked on human beings as "organisms" subject to the mere natural law of physics or biology, and lacking the decisive attribute of freedom and the responsability that arises from it. For a long time now attempts have been made to persuade people to lose sight of their unique condition as persons and to think of themselves simply as organisms on a level with other kinds of reality that exists in the world , and subject to all sorts of manipulations in all these "natural" modes |
