Description
Summary:Missionary cooperation requires to be structured also by specific juridical instruments, which define reciprocal duties and rights between the parties involved in a missionary project. In this respect, the Italian Bishops' Conference has elaborated some draft agreements, that refer both to the acceptance in Italy of foreign priests, and also to the sending in missionary countries of diocesan priests and lay faithful. The article examines the text of the agreements concerning the sending to mission of priests and lay faithful, showing the specific contribution that the instrument of the agreement can give and proposes the extension also to projects in which more ecclesiastical persons are involved.
