Description
Summary:A man baptised and brought up as a Catholic drifted away from the practice of the faith in early adulthood. Some years later he was brought back to Christianity by protestant evangelicals, and was eventually ordained in a non-Catholic ecclesial community. Now he wishes to be reconciled to the Catholic Church. He has no desire to be a Catholic priest, but does wish to have his status in the Church clarified because he does not wish to cause scandal. Has he committed a delict and incurred a penalty which requires canonical intervention?
