Summary: | "The Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life (CJCLSAL) has the authority to intervene in those matters reserved to the Holy See regarding consecrated life (of Pastor Bonus, 108 §1). Cardinal Franc Rode, Prefect of the Congregation, with the faculties granted to him by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI in an audience on November 17, 2008, issued a decree naming Mother Mary Clare Millea, superior general of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as Apostolic Visitator ad inquirendum et referendum to look into the quality of the life of women religious in the United States. Upon completion of this apostolic visitation, Mother Mary Clare Millea will Jorward to the CJCLSAL a detailed report." |
