The Armenian Orthodox Church, through their own ecclesiastical process, has addressed the wife's prior bond of marriage, thereby permitting this Armenian Orthodox woman to marry this Russian Catholic man in her Armenian Orthodox Church. At this time, the Russian Catholic man discovers that he is terminally ill with cancer and wants his current marriage to his Armenian Orthodox wife recognized by the Catholic Church.
