| Resumo: | Migrations and Ecclesial Law. Structural Aspects and Pastoral Implications - The right to a specific pastoral for migrants - although the lack of an explicit normative formalization in CIC/83 - is in principle acknowledged. This is shown by the support given to suitable pastoral structures, especially in personal parishes, whose source can be traced back to the guiding lines of documents such as the Constitution "Exsul Familia", the Instruction "Nemo est", the Circular Letter "The Church and human mobility" as well as other documents and pronouncements of the Magisterium. Also after CIC/83 came into effect, the Instruction "Erga migrantes caritas Christi" has showed the interest of the Church for a specific pastoral for migrants. The need of the pastoral care for the Eastern catholics of diaspora is mentiond too. The Pastoral for migrants promotes a new reading of the overall Pastoral of the Church leading to a more fearless mobility of the Pastoral itself |
