Description
Summary:Missionary Law in the CIC: the Universal-Particular Dialectic. In the background of universal Chruch-particular Churches relationship, this study investigates the dialectic and complemantary relationship between missionary and common law. Aspects of this relationship are the normative differences between Latin Church und Oriental Churches sui iuris; the passage from the "faculties system" to the dispensation for certain major causes system; the principle of right autonomy, which the Author prefers to the classical principle of subsidiarity; the principle of personality application in erecting particular churches. Enculturation of the Gospel and evangelization of cultures are complemantry aspects of missionary activity, shared by ecclesiastical law too, in service to enculturation and open to be itself enculturated
