Description
Summary:We are looking for a clarification of non-age in canon 1083 of the Code of Canon Law. There seems to be nothing in the code to indicate whether "creeping validity" occurs when the subject attains the acceptable canonical age. The case in point centers on a young girl, thirteen years of age when she married m 1977. The parties divorced in 1985. Is their consent impeded because of canon 1083 or did it become valid when the girl became of age?
