Il ressort du processus rédactionnel du texte qu’il ne faut pas y voir une claire affirmation de la participation des diacres à la fonction sacerdotale du Christ, mais qu’il faut interpréter l’ensemble de l’alinéa 41 §3 à la lumière de LG 34 qui applique la même expression en introduction de son développement sur les tria munera du sacerdoce baptismal. In the first place among these ministers are deacons…” It emerges from the manner in which the text is drafted that the participation of deacons in Christ’s priestly function must not be seen as being asserted clearly but paragraph 41 §3 in its entirety must be interpreted in the light of LG 34 that uses the same expression when it introduces its exposition of the tria munera of the baptismal priesthood. |
