Summary: | The book we are presenting is a rigorous analysis of Hegelian writings about the philosophy of religion; it deals with the themes of Trinity, incarnation and community. Despite the author's ability to rediscover numerous different points of contact with systematic theology, some perplexities remain. The Hegelian analysis is however enclosed within the vicious circle of immanence, where divine transcendence is manifested tout court. All this is not only due to the desire to represent the Trinitarian life conceptually, but rather to reduce it to the cognitive possibility of the knowing subject, even making it an integral part of this subjectivity.
