Description
Summary:This paper reports findings from a research project undertaken in Spring 2019. The stimulus was Abbi Day’s work in Religious lives of older laywomen (2017). The project was a qualitative study based on semi-structured interviews with women who fitted Day’s description of Generation A. The purpose of the research was to test Day’s findings and to discover whether her conclusions were replicated in other places. The study found some similarities with Day and also some significant differences.
