Description
Summary:The boy who cried wolf found that one day, when he was really in danger, no one took his cries seriously. In the same way, thanks to calling in season and out of season on synodality, and making it into a trendy slogan, we no longer realise that it is connatural with the Church itself, being an essential characteristic of that Church. Far from being a trend, synodality is a requirement, because given what it is, the Church is called to materialise in the synodal principle and to live synodally. For the Church this is not about conforming to the signs of the times, but rather, in an ongoing conversion, to become that which it truly is.
