Description
Summary:What does doing theology in the Mediterranean mean and what has the Mediterranean got to say about the understanding of the faith? Beyond the supposed rigidity of the borders to be defended at all costs, the Mediterranean is the "sea that is also a crossroads", which speaks of cultural identities made by exchanges and contaminations: plural and multiple landscapes, cultures, traditions, and yet undoubtedly "one". A theology from the Mediterranean is a theology capable of discerning the signs of the Kingdom of God in the folds of history and understanding prophetically the signs of the anti-Kingdom that disfigure the soul and human history; a "performative interpretation" which encourages the assumption of responsibility; a theology of dialogue and possible fraternity, beyond borders and with the capacity to inhabit them.
