| Summary: | In una "cultura fluida" come quella contemporanea c' è un gran bisogno di uomini e donne contemplativi, perché è da lì che si impara la vera umanità. Per ritornare ad essere incisiiva in questa cultura la Chiesa non ha bisogno di strategie "performanti", bensì di ritrovare questo suo cuore pulsante, questa fonte di umanità che è la contemplazione di Dio. Lo scopo ultimo della riforma degli istituti femminili di vita contemplativa, riforma voluta da Francesco, il Papa della carità, è proprio questo. La chiave di lettura critica della nuova normativa è offerta dal can. 587 §3 del CIC 1983. Nella normativa riguardante questo settore del diritto della Chiesa è fondamentale che "siano adeguatamente armonizzati gli elementi spirituali e quelli giuridici; tuttavia non si moltiplichino le norme senza necessità". In a "fluid culture" like the contemporary one there is a great need for contemplative men and women, because that ist where one learns true humantiy. To return to being incisive in this culture, the Church does not need "performing" strategies, but rather to rediscover this breating heart, this source of humanity which is the contemplation of God. The ultimate aim of the reform of the feminine institutes of contemplative life, reform wanted by Francis, the Pope of charity, is precisely this. The key to critical reading of the new legislation is offered by can. 785 §3 of the Code of Canon Law promulgated in 1983. In the legislation concerning this sector of Chruch law it is essential that "the spiritual and juridical elements are to aptly harmonised. Norms, however, are not to be multiplied without necessity". |
