| Summary: | The article intends to highlight an entirely new question. In the light of "Veritatis Gaudium" it engages theology in protecting the Church from the seemingly only "patent" of salvation which is left: the possibility of giving the ultimate sense to time which risks passing in vain. Three theoretical nodes are developed. First, the article examines the reasons which pushed Christianity to the edge of risking to lose the "patent of salvation". Then it focusses on the subtle shift by which it seems that the setting in which man and woman live has been carried from "postmodernity" to "late modernity". In the third part, it identifies an "exit road", a redemption from the presumed loss of the possibility which the Church has together with theology to give salvation to mankind: the hermeneutics of a Christian existence which is lived in holiness and makes Christianity credible by healing. L'articolo intende mettere in luce una questione del tutto nuova che, alla luce di Veritatis Gaudium, impegna la teologia a proteggere la Chiesa da quell'unico - sembra - "brevetto" di salvezza che le sia rimasto: la possibilità di conferire il senso ultimo al tempo che rischia di scorrere inane. Vengono sviluppati, quindi, tre nodi teoretici. Innanzitutto, si mettono a fuoco i motivi che hanno spinto il cristianesimo sull'orlo del rischio di perdere il "brevetto di salvezza". In secondo luogo, si evidenzia quel sottile passaggio per cui oggi sembra che lo scenario, in cui l'uomo e la donna vivono, sia traghettato dalla "postmodernità" alla "tardomodernità". Nella terza parte, la ricerca individua una "via d'uscita", un riscatto a questa presunta perdita della possibilità che la Chiesa possiede, assieme alla teologia, di conferire all'uomo la salvezza: si tratta di quell'ermeneutica dell'esistenza cristiana vissuta in santità che rende credibile il cristianesimo, conferendo la guarigione. |
