Описание
Итог:Pope Francis’ Apostolic Letter Patris corde commemorates a 150th anniversary. On 8 December 1870, Pius IX proclaimed St. Joseph “Patron of the Universal Church,” for his central role in salvation history. The saint is the husband of Mary and the father of Jesus: this is fundamental for the evangelists. Here the role played by Joseph appears. If Jesus had not had a “legal” father, he would not have been able to proclaim the Gospel and carry out his mission. The originality of the Pope’s Letter lies in highlighting certain characteristics that reveal the spiritual depth of the saint, “Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life. Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage, and defend us from every evil.”
