Description
Summary:The Animal Assembly is a “wild fable.” The animals meet in a secret place and decide to send a signal to humans who have lost their organic relationship with nature. A punishment is needed, and the pandemic is what follows. The pandemic is actually the emblem of a disease with deeper roots that will require the emergence of a new kind of “righteousness”. The fable is the result of a profound cultural elaboration, and turns out to be a very suggestive mosaic, which communicates both the discomfort of the human psyche caused by the anthropocentric removal of nature and the need for a form of goodwill between mankind and animals.
