| Summary: | El presente artículo aborda desde una mirada histórica e interpretativa los capítulos 4 y 6 del libro de Nehemías, en los cuales se describen los conflictos que dieron origen a la ruptura étnica y cultual definitiva entre judíos y samaritanos. Según el texto bíblico, los samaritanos son los culpables de la ruptura por su negativa al proyecto de reconstrucción política y cultual del judaísmo tras el regreso del exilio de Babilonia. Sin embargo, el artículo busca demostrar, a partir de un análisis a los sucesos históricos del siglo V a.C, que los samaritanos no son culpables de tal acusación y que más bien el proyecto judío obedece a un plan del imperio persa, que Judá supo aprovechar para sus intereses personales. El texto tiene tres apartados: el primero es un acercamiento al contexto histórico donde se desarrollan los hechos; el segundo una radiografía desde el texto bíblico a los conflictos y acusaciones; el tercero una relectura de estos capítulos a partir de algunas realidades presentes en el contexto latinoamericano. This article addresses chapters 4 and 5 of the Nehemiah’s book, in which conflicts that produced the final ethnic and cultural breakdown between Jewish and Samaritans are described. According to the biblical text, the Samaritans are guilty of this breakdown due to their refusal in the project of the political and cultural reconstruction of Judaism after the return of the exile from Babylon. However, this article seeks to demonstrate, from an analysis of the historical facts of the fifth century BC., that Samaritans are not culprit of such an accusation and that rather; the Jewish project obeys a plan of the Persian Empire, which Judah was able to take advantage of. This text is divided in three sections: the first one is an approach to the historical context where the events are dealt with; the second one is an indepth analysis from the biblical text to the conflicts and accusations; the third one is a review of these chapters as of some realities that are present in the Latin American context. |
