| Summary: | During The Economy of Francis event, the Pope invited young economists from around the world to meet to reflect on how to «change the current economy and give a soul to the economy of tomorrow». Following the Pope’s call, the author of this article makes suggestions to young students of economics today, who tomorrow will become the decision makers capable of reversing the present course, about what should be their approach. In his article, Giraud lists the four points indicated by Pope Francis as virtuous models and dedicates ample space to the experience known as the Alleanza Donna Madre Terra (Alliance Woman Mother Earth), an initiative that aims to eliminate gender inequality, considered as one of the greatest obstacles to sustainable development and poverty reduction in the world. |
