The relationship between Ungaretti and spiritualità – catholic and/or generically meant – isn’t an unknown or neglected field of study. Nevertheless it’s far from the complete accomplishment of the task, and new perspectives have been open since the détente of the connection between literature and Sacred Scripture beginning from the new millenium. This paper, in two sections, aims to offerfirstly a wide critical status quaestionis (1949-2012), articulate in essays following a paradigmatic approach (thematic and stilistical features) or a syntagmatic one (quotations and allusions). Furthemore the unpublished proposal about an allusion to Romans 8 in poem Destino. This is the second and last section of the paper. |
