Solomon asks for wisdom (Wis 9), whose personification bears the traits of the goddess Isis, the «guide» of humankind. This is a form of inculturation of the wisdom of the God of Israel ; it becomes a universal value, which confirms the Sapiential rereading of the salvation history in Wis. 10. |
