Summary:Blueprint is a handcraft that emerged in Germany in the late 17th century in connection to the import of indigo dye. Due to this printing technique, common people became able to decorate their textile fabrics with patterns and designs. Some of the oldest of these designs were biblical pictures, of which several were passed on and are still printed today.
