| Summary: | While numerous instruments exist that provide an assessment of competence in counseling, there is a lack of such instruments from a distinctly Christian worldview. The Christian Counseling Supervision Instrument (CCSI) is a 16-item assessment that was developed through a modified Delphi study and a validation panel. Principal components analysis (N = 103) yielded two factors: personal issues and theological issues. The data suggest that the CCSI has adequate internal consistency reliability and split-half reliability. Evidence of both content validity and construct validity was confirmed. The CCSI was developed from a Christian worldview to encourage the assessment of integration in supervision. |
