Описание
Итог:In many religious communities, children encounter rigorous and continuous processes of religious socialization and education that impact their cognitive development. However, little research has been conducted on children’s perceptions of religion and religious concepts. This research explores perceptions of Heaven as a core concept in Islamic faith among 202 first-grade Muslim children, within the social context of Kuwait as a Muslim-majority country. In accordance with the perspectives of social learning theorists on child cognitive development, the findings of this research offer a further example of how social surroundings can inform the cognitive development of children in relation to religious concepts.
