總結:The aim of this study was to make and validate the Urban Quality of Life Scale (UQLS) with Islamic dimensions. This was a cross-sectional study with the descriptive-correlational method. The sample consisted of 383 Iranian Muslims (217 males, 166 females) from Yazd/Iran who was selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. Also, a subsample of 30 participants was selected to test-retest reliability in a separate study. Factor analysis results showed that UQLS is a multidimensional tool with four factors which are social, environmental, economical, and physical according to the variance percentage of Eigenvalue. Item-rest correlations (.44-.88), Cronbach’s alphas (.76-.92), and test-retest coefficients (.68-.84) were suggested good reliability of the UQLS. Finally, the results indicate that the UQLS is an effective tool for evaluating the Urban Quality of Life with Islamic dimensions in the Iranian population.
