Es wird gezeigt, dass Konfirmandenarbeit sehr wohl das Potenzial hat, für Jugendliche ein non-formaler Bildungsort zu sein, Voraussetzung ist allerdings, dass sie zukünftig stärker an den Interessen und Bedürfnissen der Jugendlichen ansetzt, ihre partizipativen Anteile ausbaut und kritisch mit den eigenen Reproduktionsmechanismen von sozialer Ungleichheit umgeht. | ||
| 520 | |a Confirmation work is little noticed as a place of non-formal education in general youth research, although it is the aim of confirmation work to be an innovative place of education for young people and confirmation work wants to outline pathways to volunteerism. These points are critically examined from the perspective of youth work. It is shown that confirmation work has the potential to be a non-formal place of education. The prerequisite, however, is that confirmation work will focus more on the interests and needs of the young people and expand their participatory shares in the future. Furthermore confirmation work must be critical concerning its own reproductive mechanisms of social inequality. | ||
