| Summary: | In this article I deal with the geographical pattern of the North Israelite temples during the first half of the 8th century BCE. The Israelite temples can be divided into two groups: 1) Those located in the heartland of the kingdom, at least some of which celebrated important traditions of the North. 2) Those located on the borders of the kingdom according to its ideology, that the two Hebrew kingdoms should be ruled by a (North) Israelite king. I then review two themes in which the system of Northern temples could have influenced the cult of late-monarchic Judah. Der Artikel beschäftigt sich mit dem geographischen Programm nordisraelitischer Tempel der ersten Hälfte des achten Jahrhunderts v. Chr. Diese können in zwei Gruppen unterteilt werden: 1) im Herzen des Königreichs zu lokalisierende Tempel, in denen wichtige Traditionen des Nordreichs gepflegt wurden; 2) an den Grenzen des Königreichs gelegene Tempel, die den ideologischen Anspruch manifestierten, dass die beide hebräischen Königreiche von einem König des Nordreichs regiert werden sollen. Der Artikel schließt mit Erwägungen zum Einfluss dieses Systems auf den Kult des spätmonarchischen Judah. Cet article traite de la répartition géographique des temples nord-israélites durant la première moitié du VIIIe siècle avant J.-C. Les temples israélites peuvent être divisés en deux groupes : 1) Ceux situés au coeur du royaume, dont certains célébraient les traditions principales du Nord. 2) Ceux situés aux frontières du royaume; selon l’idéologie nordiste les deux royaumes hébreux devant être dirigés par un roi israélite. Sont discutés ensuite deux thèmes dans lesquels le système des temples du Nord pourrait avoir influencé le culte de la monarchie judéenne tardive. |
