Pope Wojtyła also highlights another decisive strand of seraphic holiness: charity. The Franciscan saints offer it all without distinction; helping every kind of need. A final aspect of the sanctity of the "sons of Francis", pointed out by the Saintly Pope, is the Marian movement, which he particularly admired in his compatriot Maximilian Kolbe. The article presents the list of all the saints canonized by John Paul II with many excerpts from his homilies. Un secondo importante aspetto è la conformazione a Cristo: si tratta di una componente del cammino spirituale legata ad un percorso di ascesi. Papa Wojtyła evidenzia, inoltre, un altro filone determinante della santità serafica: la carità. I santi francescani la offrono tutti senza distinzione, soccorrendo ogni genere di bisognoso. Un ultimo aspetto della santità dei "figli di Francesco", rilevato dal santo papa, è il culto mariano, da lui ammirato particolarmente nel connazionale Massimiliano Kolbe.
