| Summary: | In this work the last years of Pedro Tenorio’s pontificate are studied from different perspectives of analysis, a period that begins in the summer of 1393 with the coming of age of Enrique III and continues with the progressive, although never definitive, distance from the Royal Court of the Toledan Primate promptly alleviated with their participation in certain diplomatic and mediating matters that covered peninsular politics or ecclesiastical activity equally, and all this in the midst of an unceasing activity of diocesan, lordly, foundational and constructive administration aimed at materialize the power that represented the primacy of Spain. En este trabajo se estudian desde diferentes perspectivas de análisis los últimos años del pontificado de Pedro Tenorio, un periodo que se inicia en el verano de 1393 con la mayoría de edad de Enrique III y continua con el progresivo, aunque nunca definitivo, alejamiento de la Corte Real del primado toledano aliviado puntualmente con su participación en determinados asuntos de carácter diplomático y mediador que abarcaron por igual la política peninsular o la actividad eclesial, y todo ello en medio de una incesante actividad de administración diocesana, señorial, fundacional y constructiva encaminada a materializar el poder que representaba el primado de España. |
