Description
Summary:The results of a second season of large-scale Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) surveys at Raphaneae indicate that the legionary fortress was unusually narrow, reaching less than 300 m in its north-south extension. South of the fortress the survey identified structures that are probably part of an Early Imperial civil settlement attached to the military base.
