Summary: | Craig Detweiler gives his sociological and theological reflections on selfies. He approaches selfies as part of a search for God via God's image. Two strengths of this book are the focus on listening and understanding, as well as its sociological and historical approach. Unfortunately, the method is at times weak and affects the theological depth of the book. Nevertheless, Detweiler's work is valuable as a serious reflection on a practice that has now become a natural way of inhabiting the world. (English) |
