Описание
Итог:The term αύθεντέω has played a central role in determining the meaning of 1 Tim 2:12 and, consequently, for many, Paul's view regarding women in ministry. Many studies on the term have been conducted over the past quarter-century, but there remains considerable debate about what the research actually demonstrates. This essay revisits these key studies and other relevant areas of dispute and corrects numerous misinterpretations of them, finally arguing that a proper interpretation of the research moves past conflicting claims toward more conclusive results.
