| Summary: | The postmodern metropolises and more generally the current urban scenario are one of the strongest signs of the change of the era that we are experiencing as humanity, as Pope Francis often recalls. The present study has the task of investigating this phenomenon, and of showing the profound repercussions it has on the Christian experience and on the institutions that make it visible and transmit it. Listening to the sociological reflection allows the author to find the heuristic tools to read how the metropolises are profoundly changing the Christian identity and the forma ecclesiæ. The moment of the phenomenological reading has the purpose of instructing the theological reflection: how to continue to live the experience of the Christian faith, how to be Church and announce the God of Jesus Christ in a scenario that shows the overcoming of traditional forms of the Christian community and of transmission of the faith. Le metropoli postmoderne e più in generale l’attuale scenario urbano sono uno dei segnali più forti del cambiamento d’epoca che come umanità stiamo vivendo, come ci ricorda spesso papa Francesco. Il presente studio ha il compito di indagare questo fenomeno, e di mostrare le ricadute profonde che ha sulla esperienza cristiana e sulle istituzioni che la rendono visibile e la trasmettono. L’ascolto della riflessione sociologica consente all’autore di trovare gli strumenti euristici per leggere in che modo le metropoli stanno cambiando in profondità l’identità cristiana e la forma ecclesiæ. Il momento di lettura fenomenologica ha lo scopo di istruire la riflessione teologica: come continuare a vivere l’esperienza di fede cristiana, come essere Chiesa e annunciare il Dio di Gesù Cristo dentro uno scenario che mostra il superamento delle forme tradizionali di comunità cristiana e di trasmissione della fede. |
