The discrepancy between the political ideals expressed in the first part of the article and the functioning of the existing institutions is so great, that the response to the confusion provoked by this discrepancy can only be a personal one, rooted in our innermost foundations. Today, there are many people who, with open eyes and the willingness to serve, commit themselves to political institutions and work from within for the common good, convinced that the change they want to bring to the world begins within their everyday life and will never come from above. |
