Résumé: | The article develops some ideas on forms of religiosity that are emerging in post-modern times. These ideas are supported by theoretical notions about the nature of religion and by observation. A brief explication of theoretical notions concerning the necessary persistence of religion in some form is given. Some recent Dutch research material is also analyzed. There are many forms of wild religiosity that are perfectly integrated in the lives of disciplined people who live quiet lives. Wild forms of religion may even promote the integration of society. The idea that it will be there when they need it can create a peace of mind advantageous for society as a whole. |
