Summary:The rapid worldwide digitalization of our societies can be understood as a socio-cultural development based on a technical invention with almost unimaginable applications in all dimensions of life. It also affects the life of the church, especially in respect to the exercise of authority, its organizational model, and catholicity. In this contribution, the A. focuses on the impact of digitalization on synodality and discernment. Digitalization may be helpful in preparing synods or the consultation of experts, but it may also have some negative consequences on the synodal experience.
La numérisation rapide et universelle de nos sociétés peut être comprise comme un développement socioculturel basé sur une invention technique avec des applications presque inimaginables dans toutes les dimensions de la vie. Ceci affecte également la vie de l'église, notamment en ce qui concerne l'exercice de l'autorité, son modèle d'organisation et la catholicité. Dans cette contribution, A. met l'accent sur l'impact de la numérisation sur la synodalité et le discernement. La numérisation peut être utile lors de la préparation de synodes ou lors de la consultation des experts. Mais elle peut également avoir des conséquences négatives sur l'expérience synodale.
