| Summary: | A lo largo de este trabajo se ha pretendido realizar un análisis prosopográfico del cuerpo estudiantil del Seminario de San Pelagio de Córdoba a lo largo del siglo XVII usando como fuente básica los expedientes de ingreso de los mismos y cruzándolos con otros documentos, lo que ha permitido representar estadísticamente los aspectos cuantitativos y comprobar que, a pesar del proceso de aristocratización que se produce en las filas del centro, no es suficiente para que estos copen los altos cargos de la Iglesia cordobesa. In this paper I have tried to do a prosopographical research of the students of Cordoban San Pelagio’s seminary through 17th century. As a basic source I have used their admission record and I have checked them against other documents. This way I have been able to statistically represent the quantitative aspects and I have also been able to prove that, even though there is an aristocratic rise in the group through the years, it is not enough for them to take over high positions at the Cordoban church. |
