Descrizione
Riepilogo:This collection of essays are based on a special review session at the 2014 SBL Annual Meeting addressing Dalit Rom Shiloni's monograph Exclusive Inclusivity: Identity Conflicts between the Exiles and the People who Remained (6th–5th Centuries BCE) (Bloomsbury, 2013). Rom Shiloni's work examines texts that derive from or reflect upon the social turbulence of the neo-Babylonian period and its effects within ancient Judahite society. The essays reflect the responses of various specialists in prophetic texts that fall within Rom Shiloni's discussion, concluding with a response from Rom Shiloni to the other contributions.
