| Summary: | In recent years, scholars of cultural anthropology have shown interest in the free exchange of gifts in social relations, especially in religious communities. In their conclusions, they show the extent to which the spirit of gratuity is a human and spiritual asset, which contrasts with the spirit of efficiency and gain, characteristic of the current culture. These studies have inspired theological research on spiritual experience as a consciousness of God's free gifts accepted and lived in faith and thanksgiving. This relationship between the believer and God is enriched by an awareness of the gift of Jesus Christ, received sacramentally in Eucharistic communion in which there is an exchange of love with God and with our brothers and sisters. Negli ultimi anni, studiosi dell'antropologia culturale si sono interessati alla realtà dello scambio gratuito dei doni nelle relazioni sociali soprattutto nelle comunità religiose. Nelle loro conclusioni, essi mostrano quanto lo spirito di gratuità è una ricchezza umana e spirituale, contrariamente allo spirito di efficienza e di guadagno che caratterizza la cultura attuale. Tali studi hanno ispirato le ricerche teologiche sull'esperienza spirituale come coscienza dei doni gratuiti di Dio accolti e vissuti nella fede e nel rendimento di grazie. Questa relazione del credente con Dio è più profonda nella coscienza del dono di Gesù Cristo, ricevuto sacramentalmente nella comunione eucaristica in cui avviene uno scambio d'amore con Dio e con i fratelli. |
