| Summary: | Kommunikation im Gesundheitswesen gilt als wesentliche Determinante für eine erfolgreiche Gesundheitsversorgung und gerät im Zuge der Digitalisierung und der demografischen Entwicklungen zunehmend in den Blick. Theorien der Gesundheitskommunikation bilden die entsprechenden Zusammenhänge auf der Mikro-, Meso- und Makroebene ab und intendieren, deren Einflussfaktoren, Ablauf und Effekte zu erklären. Dabei erfordern die technologischen Veränderungen stetige Weiterentwicklungen der Theorien, wobei das Verständnis von Kommunikation, die Merkmale der Beteiligten sowie des Kommunikationskanals, die Informationsinhalte und die Rahmenbedingungen konstante Bestandteile dieser Theorien sind. Communication in the health care system is central for a successful health care provision and gains increasing attention in the process of digitalization and the demographic transformations. Theories of health communication map the relations on the micro-, meso-, and macrolevel and intend to explain its determinants, processes and effects. Technological transformations constantly require adoptions of these theories, although a definition of communication, characteristics of the involved parties as well as the channel, the content of information and context factors remain constant constructs of the theories. |
