| Summary: | Since their institution following the Apostolic Constitution "Anglicanorum coetibus", the Personal Ordinariates of former Anglicans have been a remarkable phenomenon illustrating the diversity within the unity of the Catholic Church. Through them, some Anglican traditions concerning liturgy, spirituality and canon law could be integrated into the life of the Church. This essay will discuss the complementary norms to the Constitution, which were updated after ten years. It will ask what ecclesiological insights and concrete experiences found their way into the new norms and to what extern these bear a wider significance for the life of the Catholic Church |
