Il est construit à proximité d’un sanctuaire et paraît pouvoir être rapproché de plusieurs bains proche-orientaux des ier et iie s. de n. ère. | ||
| 520 | |a A first general 1:50 mapping of the site of Sabrā, a satellite hamlet situated 6,5 km south-west of downtown Petra, allowed to describe the visible remains of a small bath complex. The building, partially revealed by the erosive action of the wādī, is composed of a vast courtyard with portico and of a thermal block, including a cold and a hot room particularly well preserved. It seems possible to compare this building, associated to the sanctuary of the site, to several 1st and 2nd cent. ad near-eastern bath complexes. | ||
