Il est construit à proximité d’un sanctuaire et paraît pouvoir être rapproché de plusieurs bains proche-orientaux des ier et iie s. de n. ère. A first general 1:50 mapping of the site of Sabrā, a satellite hamlet situated 6,5 km south-west of downtown Petra, allowed to describe the visible remains of a small bath complex. The building, partially revealed by the erosive action of the wādī, is composed of a vast courtyard with portico and of a thermal block, including a cold and a hot room particularly well preserved. It seems possible to compare this building, associated to the sanctuary of the site, to several 1st and 2nd cent. ad near-eastern bath complexes. سمحت عملية المسح لـِ 1/50 من أنقاض آثار صبرة، الواقعة على بعد 6.5 كم من الجنوب الغربي للبتراء، بوصف البقايا المرئية لحمام حراري صغير. ويتكون المبنى، المكشوف جزئيا بفعل التآكل من الوادي، من فناء واسع مع أعمدة وحجر حراري، و يشمل غرفة حمام باردة وأخرى ساخنة والتي تم الحفاظ عليهما بشكل جيد. بُنِي الحمام على مقربة من معبد الموقع ومن الممكن مقارنة هذا المبنى بمجموعة حمامات الشرق - الأدنى خلال القرنين الأول والثاني بعد الميلاد. |
