| Summary: | This article provides an overview of the bibliography on the history of the Church in Colombia over the last 50 years, with a particular emphasis on recurring and salient themes, and on the methodological approaches adopted. To introduce this explanation, the author explains the framework of Colombian national historiography, and the place Church history occupies within this, as well as the background to the latent tension noted from 1976 onwards between traditional approaches to writing history and contemporary historiographical trends. El artículo expone los aportes bibliográficos a la historia sobre la Iglesia católica colombiana en los últimos 50 años con énfasis en los temas recurrentes ó que más han interesado a los autores y sus enfoques metodológicos. La exposición está precedida de un marco referencial a la historiografía nacional y al lugar que en ella ha ocupado la historia de la Iglesia, así como a los condicionamientos que han dado lugar a la tensión latente que se advierte después de 1976 entre la historia tradicional y las tendencias historiográficas actuales. |
