This essay identifies poor ecumenical relations among churches in Africa as a key obstacle to the WCC's effort. However, it argues that the principles of dialogue espoused by Pope Francis in Evangelii Gaudium could serve as powerful resources for the WCC in reimagining an ecumenical Africa that is committed to justice and peace. |
