| Sumario: | L'imposition du protectorat français au Maroc en 1912 entraîne une complète réorganisation de l'Eglise catholique dont la petite communauté d'origine étrangère était administrée par les franciscains espagnols. Désormais deux vicariats apostoliques se partagent les catholiques (vicariat de Tanger et de Rabat). Dans ce dernier, en charge du protectorat, des rapports triangulaires s'instaurent entre Paris, Rome et les franciscains français. Chaque acteur s'efforce de défendre ses objectifs propres, souvent inconciliables. The imposition of the French Protectorate over Morocco in 1912 led to the complete reorganization of the Catholic Church whose small community of foreign origins had been administered by the Spanish Franciscans. With the protectorate, two apostolic vicariates (the vicariate of Tangiers and that of Rabat) divided the care of the Protectorate's faithful. Rabat, responsible for the protectorate, a triangular relationship was established between Paris, Rome, and the French Franciscans. Each vicariate fought for its own goals ; goals that were often irreconcilable with those of the other. |
