En présupposant les lois cultuelles d’Ex 20 et de Dt 12-13, le récit pose la possibilité d’une cohabitation religieuse tolérante. Sur le plan littéraire et historique, 2 R 5 offre une unité certaine, il est à dater de l’époque perse en raison du vocabulaire utilisé et de sa théologie. Par la valorisation de Samarie qu’il contient, 2 R 5 interroge sur le milieu producteur qui l’a porté. Beyond the conversion of Naaman to Yahwism, the study of 2 K 5 enhances the israelite sympathy for Naaman and the unicity of Yhwh confirmed by the aramean soldier. 2 K 5 knows the cultic law of Ex 20 and Dt 12-13, and proposes a surprising possibility for a religious tolerance between the cult of Yhwh and others. On the literary and historical level, 2 K 5 is built as a unity and is a late narrative in favour of Samaria in the persian period. |
