Description
Summary:The scientific prognosis of an end of the universe due to the physical phenomenon of entropy constitutes a challenge to the Christian hope of a salvation of the cosmos. In the present article a general view of the problem posed by physics is presented, followed by a tour of Christian hope as it appears in the main biblical texts and the ecclesial tradition, and finally, a synthesis of the answer given by two of the current authors who have addressed the issue to the proposed problem.
